Built-in 1879, the Cape Neddick lighthouse sits on a steep, rocky island or ‘nubble’. It stands 88 feet above sea level and distinguishes itself as one of the most recognized and widely photographed. This American icon is still in use today and features a Victorian keeper’s house.
