Has anyone switched to numeric user names vs alpha? IE: 123456 vs absmith?
Our company has switched to this for all new users and I'm looking for any gotcha's, issues etc.
We are on Lawson 10.0.9 on-premise.

Hello Vinod, we have since switched and all new users are now numeric. We needed to install a utility on the HP-UX box to allow unix to handle the numeric usernames but I haven't heard of any issues with that. So far so good, we are not running into any issues.

LBI Print not working

Trying to print to a network printer not sending to printer, manually running the systemout.log command on server prints fine. Support seems to be at a loss. Trying to print from Destination Test and from Run Immediately, same results. An adobe instance is created on the server but maybe something is blocking the silent printing, anyone else have this issue?

Hi Lacey - Last year a colleague shared with me a PA52.1 Individual Action upload template along with an old KB article 558814 "PA52: How do I upload an Action with Addins". Looking at both of these resources I was able to get past several issues I was struggling with on my addins - like how to force an 'inquire' and how to identify the value to include in a 'hidden key' field. Enhancement Request to Permanently Set Size for PR140 PRDED-DED-Table to 999

Victoria Dalton opened an enhancement request. If you've been running into the same issues, I'd kindly ask that you take a look at the request and endorse it.

Opened Enhancement Request - 55791, Set Size for PR140 PRDED-DED-Table to 999

Description
The PR140 PRDED-DED-Table is currently set at a default of 500. Each time we have a patch that touches the tables/libraries, it overrides the 999 and puts it back to 500. This results in an issue where PR140 does not  Read more...run and therefore interrupts our Payroll process. When you have employees who have been employed with organization for 30+ years, it is very easy to go over that 500 limit. We are not able to purge the records because we require the historical data for other HR purposes.

Work Around
Current workaround is to open a ticket with Infor and have them verify the table size. When a patch is applied, it must either be addressed as part of the install or another ticket must be opened to check the size and change, if necessary.
