Still wondering how to stay on top of what’s coming in the monthly CU’s? Last week we gave you 3 Infor Knowledge Base articles to link to. The links to the specific Knowledge Base Articles for the updates will include attachments which will have the release documents for each product that is updated, e.g., FSM, LMRK, GHR:
a. Each of these zip files will have a Net Change Report, Release Notes, What’s New and a zip file with detailed documents about the changes
b. The Net  Read more...Change report shows all the changes in each release – just focus on the new release number to find the changes that are coming in with this specific release
c. The Release Notes will document in detail all that is included in this release
d. The What’s New gives a nice summary of the new features included in this release
If you see anything listed in the documentation that applies to how your organization is using Infor, then it would be best to plan on testing your application and customizations over the weekend before Monday so that you can have confidence that there will not be surprises. As we are all aware, the monthly Customer Updates (CU) from Infor can catch you by surprise if you are not prepared. Here are a few tips to help you be prepared for the Customer Update and minimize the surprises that may come:
1. Add Knowledge Base Article 1935818 to your favorites in Infor Concierge. This is the main KB article that has the updates for any Customer Update release. This article has links to many important Knowledge Base articles
2. Add Knowledge Base  Read more...Article 2053402 for the release deployment calendar so that you know exactly when the update will be happening.
3. Add Knowledge Base Article 2161846 will bring you to a page where you can click on links for each month that will link you to free training in Infor Campus for the changes that are included in the Customer Updates
There will be links for the specific updates that are coming up as well as any updates that have already been installed. If you add the main Knowledge Base Article to your favorites, then you will receive an email when it has been updated. This will then prompt you to go to Infor Concierge and read about the upcoming release as well as view the free Infor Campus trainings that are available to help you prepare for the update. #Infor #MonthlyCU #InforConcierge #Bails #InforPartner
