Introducing Infor’s New Release Process

Beginning April 2023, Infor will transition to delivering feature releases on a semi-annual cadence—in April and October each calendar year for multi-tenant (MT) cloud products. The monthly maintenance calendar will stay the same for service updates such as issue resolution, security updates, and date-sensitive localized statutory and regulatory compliance updates.

Other changes

To support this new release process, Infor is also enhancing the launch and learning tools we provide, and expanding the timeline for when these materials are available.

The first phase of the new process will be the launch of the new Release Report in April, which will replace the current Resolved Issues and Release Notes. The method of delivery of the new Release Report will not change and will continue to be provided via Knowledge Base (KB) article and the What’s New Widget. Coming soon

Our teams are also diligently working on feature toggling capabilities for our semi-annual feature releases and plan to add this capability for upcoming releases. With toggling you will be able to selectively adopt the specific features you would like to implement at your own pace.
