A short walk across the parking lot from RPI's world HQ is every RPI'ers favorite axe throwing bar, Urban Axes. Urban Axe Throwing, brought to the United States by Urban Axes in 2016, is the delightfully forbidden act of taking a break from the monotony and stress of city living and throwing an axe at a wooden target. There’s something deeply satisfying about hearing the thunk of the axe as it sticks in the board (followed by the cheers of your friend), and that feeling has people hooked.
First and foremost, axe throwing is a social experience! It’s best enjoyed with friends, family, co-workers, or pretty much any other humans you can think of.
