I have an enhancement request, number 108416, that I'd appreciate endorsements on, please. Essentially, I'm asking that if an IPA work unit exists for some record to be approved (invoice, requisition, etc...) the action buttons that would be available on the work unit (Approve, Return, Reject) also be available on the record itself. This would mean tying the work unit to the record and would allow for better sorting and filtering when an approver has MANY records such as invoices. They  Read more...could choose to filter to all invoices under $500 for example and mass approve them instead of reviewing one-by-one.

When vendor doesn’t charge tax at all (0 tax on invoice) we want to book what Vertex calculated to a tax accrual account and don’t compare tax as part of the invoice tolerance process.

Work Around
We must manually intervene with these invoices.

Proposed Solution
Currently, the system doesn’t differentiate invoice with 0 tax amount. It sent through tax tolerance and will be placed in unreleased unapproved status. We would like these invoices to be approved/released automatically without going through tax tolerance process so invoices will be paid as it is. Vertex calculated amount to be booked to use tax accrual account-subaccount combination (247-0000).

We’re looking to book any differences that fall within the $50 tax tolerance following the same accounting as the item line (booked to an expense account). Currently, our tax tolerance setup is at $50, with tax code VAR and a default tax rounding account as shown below. The tax code has been defined with Land Cost Flag set to Yes, so that tax on an item is included in item’s cost.

Description
On PO20 Add and Release and on PO30 Release, we would like the Purchase Order Request sent to Vertex to include the Tax Usage Code field and pass to Vertex as Usage. Also, on Invoice Entry through MA54, which triggers a call to Vertex, or any other Invoice processing (i.e. AP20) that triggers a tax call to Vertex, we would like the Invoice Verification Request sent to Vertex to include the Tax Usage Code field and pass to Vertex as Usage.

ER 67755 - Invoice Distributions Create on List
Please see and vote to endorse enhancement request number 67755. This ER is to get the Create on List option for entering an AP invoice distribution to actually create on list. Currently, when clicking that option, it does create what appears to be a new list entry, but when you click that new entry to begin enter, a new pop-up for is presented. So, it's not actually creating on list, but just giving the illusion of doing so. ER 71947 Requisition Default Lines and Structure Relations

We turned on structure relations in our Finance Enterprise Group (FEG) which is used to limit the accounts available to select other dimensions such as entities and departments. This is similar to GL20 in Lawson S3. In Lawson S3, when this was on, only the available valid accounts would display in selection menus such as the default distribution information when creating a requisition. However, in Infor FSM's RSS and  Read more...Requisition creation screen, this is not true. All accounts are being returned. This allows a requester to choose an invalid account, add many lines to the requisition thinking that all are correct, and then all are missing the distribution information.

ER 71947 exists to remedy this and return the proper functionality to requisition default line information and honor the structure relations. Please up-vote this ER.

For those on Infor Financials, I ask that you please go and endorse this Enhancement Request (link below). A little background on it: In their UI SoHo 3.5, when entering an invoice distribution, it is easy to do via in-line entry and tabbing through to the next field. But, in their new 4.0 UI, when you click on the Create on List, it now opens a new window where you input the values. This really is not a create-on-list and I'm not sure why they took a step backwards. It just adds more  Read more...mouse clicks and can slow down entry time. This is not my Enhancement Request, but I do support it.
