Hi Anne -

It's been awhile. HyBridge has deep experience in all aspects of APIA and imaging systems and their integration to Infor Financials. We can help you from end to end, and have multiple client references that we can share with you. Please feel free to reach out to me to arrange a call.

What imaging solution are you using? That informs the method of integration. We've seriously vetted Hyland OnBase/Brainware, MHC Express, and Kofax. Each one will work differently. To integrate into Lawson, we're seriously considering purchasing the APIA module from Lawson. Basically, it comes with pre-built IPA flows for integration so it requires minimal configuration. You're either paying for integration by having a consultant manually build flows, or you're buying APIA. Hi Maryellen! Great question!

We have several clients who automate invoice/vendor imports. Typically they read a file into an IPA process and create csv files that can be imported into the conversion tables (APCINVOICE, APCVENMAST, ...) using importdb. (You could also use a Lawson Transaction node to add data via AP51 & AP52 screens). Then, either the IPA process runs AP510 & AP520 (which imports vendors & invoices respectively), or someone can run those batch jobs  Read more...manually.

We also have a client who uses an external web page to request vendor maintenance manually, and that goes through an approval process using an IPA approval flow. It's a similar concept, where you import records into APCVENMAST and run the AP510 to import the vendors.

Let us know if you have any more questions! Show less...
