Case in point

Deedre Day, President/Chair of Infor Mid-Atlantic User Group, and an Infor customer utilizes the WorkOutLoud community platform for her user community.  She utilizes all aspects of the platform and has been for several years. All good.

Several weeks back she began to promote an upcoming event in the community. She put together a robust meeting and expected vendors, many customers, speakers, at a great destination.  All was good.

Situation

Last week between Deedre, Infor, and WorkOutLoud discussed how to change this event from an in-person event to a virtual event.  Remember, many people had already registered, scheduled sessions, and were planning for the meeting.

Solution

The solution was simple.  Simply changing the mode of her event to “Virtual” and updating some details - she went from in-person to a virtual event.  All her existing registrants were scheduled for the new “location” (virtual) and were sent their new confirmations along with the details to sign-in and participate (Web & Mobile).

In addition to her participants being able to easily engage virtually, Deedre can continue to benefit from the strong reporting, analytics, and now, even attendance reporting including viewers, viewing time, and multiple sign-ins.  She will also benefit from digital visual assets that will be stored in her community and available for future reference.
