Qualifications:
· Comprehensive technical knowledge of Information Technology, focusing on Healthcare application development and support
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or medical profession required. Similar work experience may substitute for education.
· Minimum (3) years’ experience in Information Technology or healthcare field, including two (2) years as an Application Consultant required
· Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with ERP Applications (e.g., Lawson, PeopleSoft, etc.) required
· Understands and practices regulatory standards and department/organization policies and procedures as appropriate to employee’s position (e.g., Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control, Environment of Care, National Patient Safety Goals, Wage and Hour)
· Ability to define security needs and configuration and monitors/audit for appropriate security level usage
· Experience developing and coordinating application test plans
