This past week, I spent three days in New York City at Infor’s Executive Offices. It was a great visit, and the weather ranged from 30 to 70 degrees, sunny and rainy, and ready to snow as I left. What diversity and what a time in the city that never sleeps. I attended Infor’s Inaugural HCM Partner Summit where they updated us on the latest products, strategy, and marketing in and around the entire HCM Suite. It was great to get a status update on the global payroll strategy and v11 Landmark Payroll: anyone interested in being a v11 Payroll Beta? We also got to hear the executive commitment around HCM product development, strategy, and where Infor is headed from Charles Phillips, Stephan Scholl, and Soma Somasundaram, who joined the Summit.

Six other RPIers joined me in NYC: Keith Wayland (Partner), Melissa Olson (HCM Practice Manager), Matt Slazak (Sr. HCM Consultant), Jackie Dudas ( Sr. HCM Consultant and presenter extraordinaire), Jeremy Stoltzfus (a new RPIer and IPA/Tech extraordinaire), and Dave Clark (Sales and Solutions Executive for the Northeast), making RPI the largest partner contingent represented, a subtle statement of our commitment to Infor HCM as well as to the Infor Lawson community. Thank you to the team for making the trek, showing me how to have a good time in NYC, and for the effort put forward. Look for some more thoughts and updates from me and Melissa over the next few weeks.

My compliments to the Infor Alliance & HCM team for a job well done and an excellent summit. Thank you for spending time with RPI to do some planning around our HCM initiatives. This blog one of those initiatives. I am excited about the progress of Infor and its direction, and I look forward to Inforum in July (the early, early bird discount ends this week). We have a whirlwind schedule leading up to Inforum17 with HIMSS17 in Orlando  in two weeksWinter Showcase in St. Paul next month, and our Spring Break Webinar Series with 16+ new webinars in April, so it will be a busy Spring. We also have a library of webinars available with playlists to suit your every fancy. And as part of our next step in RPI’s commitment to the Infor Lawson market, look for continuous updates from me and other RPIers. See you in a couple weeks!
